- ERP integration
ERP systems such as SAP provide base data for detailed production planning and inventory management. Information from production and inventory is fed back to the ERP system. ERP systems are integrated using standard interfaces such as B2MML and IDoc.
- Batch integration
Production data generated by the MES is sent to batch systems for further processing. After completion, the batch systems send back the results.
- PLS integration
Process data is read from process control systems using standard interfaces such as OPC. This data is archived, analysed and contextualised in MES.
